Yahoo has officially announced today that the conversion of its organic search to Microsoft’s Bing is now complete. The search alliance between the number two and three search engines has been sealed. This historic landmark in search engine land comes more than a year after Microsoft and Yahoo reached a deal to partner on search.

Yahoo! Inc. announced that co-founder, Jerry Yang, will be stepping down from his position as CEO. The 40-year-old, Yang, will be returning to his previous position as Chief Yahoo! after a replacement is found and appointed. He will continue to serve on the Board of Directors.

Google, Inc abandoned the ad deal with Yahoo! on Wednesday due to antitrust concerns from federal regulators. The announcement signals to end to the advertising agreement that could have been a lucrative partnership between the top two search engines that was reached in June.
