WordPress 3.0 is now available for download. The 26-year-old WordPress founding developer, Matt Mullenweg, states that the latest release is the 13th major release for the world’s most popular blogging software. A team of 218 contributors spent six months developing the newest version which includes 1,217 bug fixes and feature enhancements.
