Yahoo has officially announced today that the conversion of its organic search to Microsoft’s Bing is now complete. The search alliance between the number two and three search engines has been sealed. This historic landmark in search engine land comes more than a year after Microsoft and Yahoo reached a deal to partner on search.

Microsoft Corporation issued a critical patch on Thursday for Internet Explorer that secures eight vulnerabilities in the world’s most popular browser. Included in the emergency patch is the fix for the IE hole that was exploited in the China-based cyber assault, Operation Aurora, on Google and a collection of other U.S. companies.

The colossal software company pledges that the newest IE addition version as “Making our web even better… Faster, Easier, Safer”.
