I have also used the web page test. I have two sites and need to make sure they are up to par. Yippie..they are!

thank you for this excellent tools roundup,

Good to see Uber Suggest mentioned here – been using it for ages now. I have got plenty of niche blogging ideas from this tool alone. It is a bit under-mentioned and a hidden gem.

CoSchedule is another of those great tools which helps so much. Also, Semrush, ahrefs, quicksprout etc. – all are great tools.

    ✿ Hi, Robin,

Wow, what a cool post about free SEO tools, love it! I’ve used some of the tools you mentioned, but had never heard of Remove’em. What a great service! However, I didn’t see the free plan just three paid options. Could you point me in the right direction please?

Thanks so much for sharing, will definitely be spreading the word.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

    1. Hi, Carol,

Thank you for stopping by, for taking the time to read this, and for your comment. I’m happy to hear that you like this list of free SEO tools!

I agree. Remove’em is a great tool. There is a free option that will give you a sampling of the anchor text break down of a domain name. The tool helps to identify anchor text diversity and will highlight those areas where you might be at risk for anchor text over optimization. The report shows values for root domains (unique linking domain), total links (unique links), and mozRank (authority measurement) for each anchor text used in links to your site.

I revisited the site and do see what you mean. To obtain the free sampling report, enter your domain name in the box on the home page and click the “Predict” button. Then on the pop up, select the “Click here” link for a sample report showing your anchor text breakdown.

Thank you again for stopping by. Have a wonderful week, too!

  10. Another great post, Robin with a wonderful list of tools to use to optimize our websites. I do use Yoast SEO and do use a headline checker as well. Some of the functions I realize are built into things like MailChimp (for my newsletter headlines) and of course I use other tools as needed. It seems there are more tools and tricks to keep on top of daily, and as someone who doesn’t want to be so heavily involved in the technical aspects of the online world, it helps to have posts like this to refer back to! Many thanks!

    1. Hi Beverley,
It is great to hear that you are using both Yoast SEO and a headline checker. Both are excellent tools. MailChimp’s headline analyzer is another great tool! There does seem to be a great deal to keep on top of on a daily basis. I’m happy to hear you like this post.
